Affairs.
Director Israel
”Izzy” Colon welcomed our members and mentioned he
was impressed by the activities by the Dialogue Forum.
Mr. Colon has over 35 years
of experience in city government and the non-profit sector with a focus
on policy analysis, non-profit management, and community advocacy. For
15 years he served on the Philadelphia City Council where he helped
improve access to opportunities for all the city’s residents
and its culturally diverse neighborhoods.
The activities of Dialogue
Forum was mentioned during the meeting. The possibilities of food
service for the homeless people in a shelter or in a tent during the
month of Ramadan was discussed during the meeting.
Mr.Colon gave a brief tour
of the City Hall. Dialogue Forum members expressed their interest for a
luncheon activity or a dinner for the members of the Mayor’s
office in the City Hall.
